Sarasota, FL: Pines of Sarasota Foundation is pleased to announce two new appointments: Terri Arnell has been promoted to Director of Marketing and Communication and Andrea Stephens has joined the Foundation as Director of Development.
Arnell has served the Foundation as Development Manager since 2015. She has more than 30 years’ experience working on behalf of non-profit development programs including long tenures at Boston College Law School and Ringling College of Art and Design where she oversaw Special Events, Alumni Relations and Advancement Services. In her new position, Arnell will be responsible for sharing Pines of Sarasota Foundation’s message with the community, as well as management of the Foundation’s special events. “It’s a privilege to serve Pines of Sarasota Foundation,” said Arnell. “I want everyone to know that, by supporting Pines Foundation, they help Pines of Sarasota continue to provide exceptional and loving care to seniors in our community.”
Andrea Stephens joins the Foundation following tenures at USF Sarasota-Manatee and New College Foundation where she was successful in obtaining funding for programs and scholarships. At USFSM, she helped to secure over $3.3 million in endowment, scholarship and unrestricted donations. In addition to fundraising, Stephens has experience with strategic planning, donor research and database management. She will be responsible for building relationships between Pines of Sarasota Foundation and the community, and will oversee the Foundation’s database. “I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing organization at such an exciting time in its history,” said Stephens. “It’s an honor to have the opportunity to help the Foundation support the residents and families who depend on the Pines.”
