PRESS RELEASE

SARASOTA, FL – Friday, August 26, 2016 – 2:30pm in the 1st floor dining room of the Goldstein Pavilion, 11 Pines of Sarasota Rehabilitation and Senior Care community residents and their families and friends will be celebrating their birthdays with “100 Plus Club Tea Party.”

“According to the US Census in 2010, the number of centenarians in the US grew by 66% between 1980 and 2010. Pines of Sarasota has 11 residents who are more than 100 years old right here on our one campus. We are very proud that we are providing a fun, safe place to live with the best in compassionate care,” states Ivy Ruark, Director of Volunteers for Pines of Sarasota.

“We are really looking forward to honoring our centenarians. To have seen and to have lived when Woodrow Wilson was president. Our residents have lived what our history books teach us,” Ruark continues.
