In our commitment to provide outstanding care, Pines of Sarasota offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy to Pines residents and to members of the community. Our team of therapists are all employed by Pines to ensure continuity of care.
Our in-house staff of rehabilitation professionals is available for service regardless of fluctuations in caseload or seasonal population allowing us to provide:
- Consistency of treatment quality and expertise
- Familiarity in staff/resident relationships
- Stability in delivery of our healthcare services

Pines features two brand-new Rehabilitation Centers:
The Ann and Alfred Goldstein Rehabilitation Center, featuring an Aquatic Therapy Pool, and the Manser Family Rehabilitation Center, featuring an apartment setting primarily utilized to help transition residents for their return home.
Designed to complement each other for your greatest benefit, our facilities are invested with state-of-the-art equipment and machines.
Their special design features enable us to serve outpatients from the community, short term inpatient clients, as well as long term comprehensive care patients. We are the only skilled nursing center that offers aquatic therapy, which is useful for many orthopedic therapies, rotator cuff injuries and arthritic conditions.
We offer a complete range of rehabilitation services for the following:

- Therapist Experience
How many years of experience does each of the therapists have? - Individualized Therapy
Are activities and hobbies that are important to the resident incorporated into the rehabilitation plan? - Positioning
Are the residents comfortable in wheelchairs that are modified to fit them? - Home Evaluations
Do the therapists visit the client's home, if necessary, to determine needs before discharge? - Satisfaction
Do therapists speak with residents, clients, and family members to see if they are pleased with the services they have received?
