  • Pines spends nearly $4,500 per year on each colleague's health insurance premium for single coverage.
  • Benefits take effect after 90 days of full time employment.

 

What about dependent coverage?

  • Pines pays $5,700 per year for family coverage.

 

How many paid days off are offered?

  • Colleagues begin accruing paid days off (PDO) with the first pay period.
  • Annually, 23 PDOs are available to colleagues to use.
  • The number of PDOs increase, based on your years of service.

 

Do you offer a retirement plan?

  • By industry standards, Pines retirement match is greater than 80% of other employers.
  • Colleagues may begin contributing to their 401(k) retirement fund immediately.
  • At that time, Pines will begin matching, dollar for dollar, contributions up to 2.5% of your annual base salary.
  • After 3 years of employment colleagues are fully vested.

 

How do you determine my starting wages?

  • One of the tools used for colleague retention is related to compensation.
  • Starting wages are based on education and experience relevant to the position, in combination with market comparisons nationally and in our service area.

  • Merit increases are given yearly and tied to performance.
  • Pines surpassed industry standards in both healthcare and not-for-profit organizations with respect to merit increases and market adjustments paid out in 2010.
