Pine's
"Garden Unit" offers specialized care for residents with
Alzheimer's and related memory disorders. Our compassionate,
experienced, care team understands the stress and difficult
decisions that families face when loved ones experience this
frustrating disease.
Personalized therapeutic activities
provide age and stage-appropriate social, physical, spiritual, emotional,
and cognitive opportunities designed to help residents experience enhanced
feelings of self-worth. The variety of daily activities include Art
Expressions, Music Therapy/Appreciation, Horticultural Therapy and
Gardening, Intergenerational Sharing, Reminiscence, and Pet Visits. Of
course, there are plenty of celebrations and parties where residents,
families, and staff can all share and enjoy each other's company.
Pine's "Garden Unit" features all 45
private rooms with abundant secured outside walkways and gardens. The
staff work together as a "team" understanding the needs and challenges of
each resident; they not only support the residents, but their families and
friends as well.
